Galabingo - chat etiquette
galabingo.com - Chat Etiquette or “Chatiquette” is commonly used in bingo chat rooms, and without it, reading chat may lose you!
Not all, but most bingo sites do not allow capital letters, as in the chat world this is considered shouting and constant use of caps can result in a ban or a kick from the chat room!

The most common things you’ll find in chat rooms -
“GL” - this means good luck. So if somebody says to you “Hello, gl” you’ll know they are wishing you good luck!
GLA - this is “Good luck all”, GLNG means “good luck next game”, “GLE1” is “good luck everyone” and GLAC is “good luck all close” – this will be said mostly when it’s nearing the end of the bingo game and there are a lot of people on 1 to go.
Which brings us onto “1tg, 2tg, 3tg” etc - This simply means 1 to go, 2 to go, 3 to go and so on. When you see this, players are just letting other players know how many they need on their Bingo card.
Saying well done to a winner is simply “WD” (Well done”), “WDW” (Well done winner) and “WTG” (way to go).
When people are dashing off for a minute you’ll probably see “BRB” which is be right back and “AFK” - away from keyboard.
Many funny moments arise in chat rooms and to show they are laughing, people often use “LOL” (laugh out loud) and “ROFL” (roll on the floor laughing).
When making an exit and you wish to say goodbye, “TTFN” (ta ta for now) “TTYL” (talk to you later) and “SYS” (see you soon) are the most commonly used.
