Galabingo.co.uk ran a UK wide advertising campaign featuring Sharon Osbourne as the spokesperson for the Gala online bingo website. www.galabingo.co.uk seems to have moved away from the Sharon Osbourne persona as there is now a Sharon’s bingo website which can be found at www.sharonsbingo.com. She can, however, be found on the home page once you have logged into the website on the home page.

www.sharonsbingo.com is a bingo website that depicts Sharon Osbourne and her pooches all over it. There are Sharon Osbourne Scratch cards and 5p Sharon Hours. I don’t quite see the point of having this additional website as everything you needs is already on Gala Bingo and it feels like this is just another money making exercise on the part of Gala Bingo, cashing in on a famous celebrities name. The reason for this additional website? As quoted from www.sharonsbingo.com , “ You know what Sharon’s like, she’s an independent spirit so it’s no surprise she set up her own website with a bit of help from Gala”. The games are the same and apart from being on a smaller scale to GalaBingo, there is not much difference. Even the deposit bonuses are the same and you need to make a £10 deposit before you receive any free bingo money to play bingo with.
I’m surprised that galabingo.co.uk has not got a link between the two websites. This would make Gala Bingos guise in the form of Sharons Bingo easier for players to register on both websites and cash in even more on this celebrities name.
